Founded by Rana Udai Singh of Sisodia dynasty about 1553 AD, Udaipur is set amidst the verdant Aravalli hills of South-East Rajasthan in India. Known as,‘'City of Lakes’ it is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities of India.

City Palace, Udaipur, is a palace complex in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The city Palace was built concurrently with establishment of the Udaipur city by Maharana Udai Singh, in 1553 and his successor Maharanas over a period of the next 300 years.
The Monsoon Palace
The Monsoon Palace, also known as the Sajjan Garh Palace, is a hilltop palatial residence in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is named as Sajjangarh after Maharana Sajjan Singh (1874–1884) of the Mewar Dynasty, who built Sajjangarh Fort in 1884. The Monsoon Palace provides a beautiful view of the sunset.
Fateh Sagar Lake
Fateh Sagar Lake is situated in the city of Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar ,constructed to the north-west of Udaipur, located to the north of Lake Pichola in the 1680s.
Lake Pichola, situated in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. Located in the heart of the city, Pichola Lake is the oldest and one of the largest lakes of Udaipur.
Taj Lake Palace
Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, is the most romantic hotel in the world. It was built in 1746 as the pleasure palace of Maharana Jagat Singh II. Lake Palace (formerly known as Jag Niwas) is a luxury hotel, which has 83 rooms and suites featuring white marble walls.
Gulab Bagh (Sajjan Niwas Garden) is the largest garden in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. During 1850's, Maharana Sajjan Singh took the initiative to built this beautiful garden. Sajjan Niwas Bagh is celebrated for its numerous varieties of roses.at a short walk away through rose plants and open parks, a zoo is situated.
